The Boudoir Session Experience
I’m so excited you’re considering doing this for yourself! I will guide you every step of the way from the outfits that look best to posing during your shoot. If you’re nervous and excited, good, that’s exactly what you should be feeling. I’m your hype girl and I can’t wait for you to experience this.
So first let me introduce myself, I'm Katie and I'm truly so glad you're considering doing a boudoir session. As women, we put everyone's needs before our own and give so much of ourselves. We don't feel overly "pretty" or "sexy" on a daily basis. Women come to me for a million different reasons and different times in their lives. I get to celebrate with you and guide you on your self love journey and show you how small your perceived flaws really are. This experience will spill over into your life, the way you see yourself, into your relationships and worth.
What to Expect
A fun pamper day all about YOU! My studio is inside the comfort and privacy of my home. Sessions are from 10am-2:30pm. Once you arrive I'll show you into the studio and ask to see your outfits (you can bring three) while our amazing makeup artist, Hailey, is getting setup. I will also get you something to sip on and some slippers.
Hair and makeup is included (and required). It's such an amazing and integral part to the day. You'll get your hair and makeup done for 90 minutes and during that time you relax into the space while we get to know each other. I get the dressing room all setup for you and hang your outfits during that time as well.
Once you're glammed up we'll being our photoshoot! I walk you through all the posing from the top of your head to your toes. You don't need to know a thing! (See behind the scenes videos and posing here). Immediately after your session you get to see your images and pick your favorites!
You will get your digital files within a few days and albums are made and shipped in about a week.

Hailey awn | Makeup Artist
Meet our wonderful, Hailey!! She is a full-time, licensed esthetician and she’s been in the industry over 10 years. She’s done weddings, events, boudoir and her Halloween special effects. But we know boudoir is her favorite. She will ask you if you have any preferences all while taking into consideration your outfit colors and even your eye color.
Hailey is an Aries, boy Mom (with another on the way) & recently married to her man who is an incredible tattoo artist. Hailey loves sour beer, all animals but mostly dogs, being a Mom and her big family! She has 3 sisters. We love and appreciate her time and talent SO much! See her work on instagram and her website.
What to Wear
You get to bring three outfits to your session. When choosing what to bring, remember that variety is key. Three similar lingerie sets in different colors don’t make for a variety of photos. Also remember you need to feel good in what you're wearing.

I recommend:
- Bodysuits
- Full lingerie sets with a garter belt (with or without stockings)
- Two piece sets
- Loose tops or a sheer/silk robe
- Naked/topless/sheet/panties
You've invested in doing a boudoir shoot in a beautiful luxury studio. I would encourage you to also do the same for your lingerie pieces. Finding beautiful, quality pieces will ensure that you will look and feel your best. A quality piece of lingerie can instantly boost your confidence.
Once you find pieces that you love I truly believe that's the start to an incredible boudoir shoot. You can now envision yourself wearing these pieces, how they make you feel and who you see yourself as in each piece.
Maybe one outfit you wear heels, maybe one outfit you do a lipstick change, maybe one outfit calls for statement dangly earrings...really picture yourself in each piece and watch everything transform.

FAQ
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE, CAN YOU HELP ME?
YES GIRL! I walk you through the entire session and tell you exactly how to pose, where to look, what to do with your hands, point your toes and so much more. I'm also a perfectionist and probably have some OCD so you can expect your hair to be perfect as well as your outfit.
WHEN DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
The studio is open during the week and sessions start at 10am. Enjoy a well deserved day of self care and relaxation. I encourage planning a date with your significant other or girlfriends while you're all dolled up.
HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MY SESSION TO LAST?
This is your day girlfriend. We start with hair and makeup which takes about 2 hours. You'll have more than enough time to relax, chat and get some great girl time while sipping on champagne. You'll LOVE Hailey our makeup artist. Once you're all dolled up we'll shoot for an hour. Immediately after your session we'll go through and select all your favorite images! Plan to be at the studio from 10am until about 2pm.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH COUPLES?
No, I don't photograph couples. I work exclusively with women with a one on one client experience.
WHAT'S THE REVEAL?!
You get to see and choose your images on the SAME DAY! WOOHOO! After our session we'll go through and pick all your favorite images. We'll also look at products and pick out the cover options for your album!
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?
I book a few months out so it's never too early to book your session. Scheduling in advance can also help you prepare mentally, physically, financially and gives you time to find the perfect outfits!
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Of course! A friend or sister is fun to have by your side during your session. The more hype girls, the better!
DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING?
All of your images will be edited with added skin softening. I can remove bruises, blemishes and scars (if requested). Don’t stress about the zit you wake up with the day of the shoot. Between good lighting and professional makeup I won't even see it. TAN LINES are one thing that I cannot edit. So please be mindful in the weeks leading up to your session or get a spray tan if that's something that bothers you.

I only share photos with your permission!
